With 8 days left until Christmas, I decided to share 8 last minute Christmas gift ideas for those who might have a few more gifts to buy.
These 8 last minute Christmas gift ideas are all things that I have bought for myself or loved ones. For those who might still have a few gifts to buy, maybe something on this list will fit the bill for someone on your list.
Most of these items (except the robe) can be purchased on amazon, and most of them qualify for prime shipping. (Amazon Prime would also be a great gift. It is SO wonderful).
So here goes….8 last minute Christmas gift ideas!!!
The perfect Christmas Scent….
Christmas should smell like, well, Christmas! This is my favorite candle for bringing the smell of freshly cut Christmas greenery inside your home. I bought my candle at Gus Mayer in Birmingham, but it is on amazon (click pink link below) for a few dollars less.Thymes Frasier Fir Candle.
Thymes also makes the Frasier Fir scent in a spray. It is also fabulous! Someone brought me the spray as a hostess gift last week, and I love it. It is sold in specialty stores and here on amazon but does not qualify for prime shipping.
The perfect tool for slicing large cuts of meat…….
Electric Carving Knife We have several holiday parties during December, and I realized last year that an electric knife was indespensible. We had a turducken (along with beef tenderloin) for my husband’s firm party, and we would’ve been up a creek had Zane’s savvy Cajun connosier partner not thought to bring an electric knife.
I bought this white one on amazon for $15.00. It came in two days, and I’ve already practiced putting it together, taking it apart, and pretending to carve a turkey:-) I’m ready to easily carve any meat to perfection!
The perfect pedicure product….
Winter is the best time to do Baby Foot, as the peeling won’t be noticeable since sandals aren’t in season.
Baby Foot can be ordered here on amazon and qualifies for prime shipping.
The perfect devotional to start 2017…Draw The Circle: 40 Day Prayer Challenge I ordered this at the behest of one of my closest friends, who said that this book drew her into prayer and a deeper walk with God like never before. I’ve done the first few devotionals, and they are unbelievable. I plan to walk through this book the beginning of the year, as prayer is one area in which I definitely need to grow.
The author recommends doing this with at least one other person (“where two are more are gathered in my name…..”), so this would be a great gift to give close friends with whom you’ll follow up with daily or weekly prayer time. You can order the devotional here on amazon.
The perfect robe……
This is my favorite robe in the world. I asked for this for my birthday this year, as my old one was literally worn to a fray.
If you are like me and love to slather yourself with lotion or body cream after a shower, this robe is FAB! You can throw it on when you are wet or damp, and it keeps you warm and allows your skin to slowly dry while you apply makeup or do other things. Nothing feels worse than putting on clothes (or a poly robe) while damp. This robe is like wrapping yourself in a nice, plush towel.
The garment washed Turkish cotton robe is available online at the RH link above or in RH stores for roughly $99.
The perfect solution to never being locked out of your car…..This large magnetic key case has saved me from being locked out of my car more times than I can count. It is large enough for most keys (but you should always measure), and it stays put underneath the car. I have a valet key made specifically for this box, which unlocks the car but won’t start it. This is a great stocking stuffer for college kids, especially girls, who don’t need to be stranded alone locked out of their car. Buy the case here.
The Perfect grilling accessory…
I bought this Looftlighter fire starting tool for Zane to use with the Big Green Egg, and he LOVES it! He can start a fire in seconds rather than minutes. If you have a man who loves to grill, this would be a great Merry Christmas.
The Perfect Nude Lip
I am loving a nude lip right now and have put together what I consider the best products to achieve the a perfect nude lip. If you want to know more, read all about it (along with where to buy products) here on this post.
I am buying all of these products for my older girls for stocking stuffers. They don’t like a bold lip, but they will wear a nude one:-) Note: In Birmingham, every store I went to last week had one Buxom gloss (which I purchased) and zero Too Faced Naked Dolly lipsticks. Online is the way to go if you want these products for Christmas.
If YOU have any suggestions for last minute gifts, please share with us in the comments section of the post! As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!!
