Cranberry Orange Congealed Salad

This cranberry orange congealed salad is a cherished family recipe that was handed down from my Grandnanny who used to make and serve this at our Thanksgiving table.

Grandnanny's cranberry orange salad

This cranberry orange congealed salad is special to me because it was always on my Grandnanny’s Thanksgiving table.

Grandnanny died several years ago, and for a short spell, none of us could find this recipe. Thankfully, my Aunt Paula in Georgia found it and emailed it to all~so the tradition continues! What a good reminder to save cherished family recipes; they really do keep memories of loved ones alive.

Make ahead: This salad can be made several days ahead and kept in the fridge until serving time.

Since Thanksgiving and the traditional Tom Turkey feast calls for something with cranberry, give this salad a try! Let me know if you like it, and feel free to share your own favorite cranberry recipes as well! As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!!
