Here are 3 easy and cheesy party appetizers, a review + video of my favorite appliance EVER, and how to use SWOT to assess and improve your marriage.
3 Super Easy & Cheesy Appetizers
Are any of you compelled to make “Super Bowl Food” even if you don’t watch the game? Even though I have no idea who is playing, I still plan to serve yummy appetizers in honor of the game lol! Since many folks are doing the same, I decided to share 3 appetizers for cheese lovers. Each one is very different, but hopefully there will be one that you love.
- This Pimento Cheese “Redneck Charcuterie Board.” This is literally “a thing” at SEC tailgates (especially my alma mater Auburn University). The fact that this is one of my all time favorite appetizers must mean that I am a little “red” lol.
- This Cheddar, Green Onion & Olive Dip is super cheesy, spicy, and complex. You won’t find this one in a google search; it is truly a unique, one of a kind recipe that my friend Marie shared on the blog (and in the video). Zane and I are officially addicted to this dip. SO yummy!
- The Best Velveeta Cheese Dip with Sausage is ALWAYS a hit with teen boys. My daughter had friends over recently, and one friend (a boy) told his mom to get the recipe:-) Mine is kicked up a notch, as all my recipes tend to be.
My New Blog Post on the Instant Pot Air Fryer
If you follow me here on instagram, you’ve likely seen me share myriad insta stories of food that I’ve cooked in the Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer. I have raved about it to all my friends and family, and many have asked me to do a tutorial on how to use it. There is a teeny tiny learning curve, but it is literally SO easy once you master “the lids.”
If you want to learn more about the Instant Pot Air Fryer, you can visit my blog post Why I Love the Instant Pot Air Fryer and How to Use It. I include a very short video showing how to use the air frying lid. I hope you find it helpful if you are wondering how the upgraded Instant Pot works.
How to Use SWOT to Improve Your Marriage
If you want a new “exercise” to do with your spouse, why not take an hour or so and do SWOT? If you want to hear how Zane and I did this in our marriage, we share it all on this episode of The SavvyCast, How to Use SWOT to Improve Your Marriage. The SWOT assessment is primarily used in businesses and corporations, but Zane does a great job of explaining how to use it in marriage and other key relationships as well. You can find the podcast page with detailed show notes here or listen below.
Please leave comments on any and all of my topics; I LOVE hearing from my readers!!! Mattress update: So far, I’ve gotten a good many emails on mattresses, and TemperPedic is winning right now. If you have a mattress that you love, please share (in the comments so that everyone can see:-).
