These yummy and colorful 5-minute Easter candy clusters require only three ingredients are are pretty enough to be the centerpiece of your Easter table!
If you haven’t made Easter candy yet, nothing is easier or yummier than these 5-minute Easter candy clusters. Even if you don’t need or want to eat candy, these are pretty enough to just serve as an Easter table centerpiece. The pastel colors are simply lovely and look so beautiful with Easter decor or fresh flowers. Putting the candy on a scalloped cake plate makes them especially festive:-)
This candy would also be a nice Easter lovey for teachers and would look beautiful wrapped in clear cellophane bags and tied with pink & white raffia or curly ribbon. For the less creative amongst us (that would be me), a nice gesture would be to make these and take to the teachers’ lounge or school office. Clear, crystal looking serving trays from Dollar Tree are perfect, pretty-but-disposable ways to take and leave treats without having to get dishes returned.
These sweet, salty, crunchy nut clusters are made with white chocolate melting wafers, Virginia peanuts (which are super salty & crunchy), and Easter colored M & M’s. Obviously, these clusters can be adapted to any holiday by changing M & M colors.
A note on nuts: I used the salted Virginia peanuts to offset the sweet ingredients. I think honey roasted peanuts would make these clusters cloyingly sweet.
Savvy suggestion: I always use the double broiler method to melt my white chocolate (or any chocolate), as it is easy and relatively foolproof. I’ve ruined many a batch of melting chocolates in the microwave and have found double broiling to be the most foolproof.
I love this double boiler because it is compact but will melt up to 2 pounds of chocolate. If you don’t own a double boiler, it is easy to just use 2 pans, as long as the top one fits over the bottom.

- 2 pouches white chocolate melt wafers (Ghirardhelli)
- 1-2 cups Virigina peanuts (or roasted salted nuts)
- 1 cup Easter colored M & M's
- M & M's to garnish
- Place 2-3 cups water in a saucepan; bring to simmer.
- Place saucepan atop the simmering water.
- Add wafers, allow to melt, stirring often.
- Remove pan when wafers are melted.
- Stir in nuts and M & M's.
- Drop by small melon scoop onto parchment or wax paper.
- Place 3 M & M's atop each cluster.
- Refrigerate half an hour or until hardened.
