Palm Beach, Florida, is a perfect weekend getaway if you want fabulous weather, gorgeous ocean views, and amazing shopping, dining & sightseeing along Worth Avenue.
Zane and I spent the last few days of February in Palm Beach, Florida, and it was a perfect weekend getaway. It is amazing how refreshed we felt after just three days of relaxing in this picturesque portion of South Florida.
For any of you who might be kicking the tires about visiting Palm Beach, I highly recommend it! It is a different flavor and feel from our usual Florida trips along the Gulf Coast~30A. I’d say that Palm Beach is more suited to a romantic getaway, while the Gulf Coast lends itself more to a family trip.
The Four Seasons Resort, Palm Beach
The Four Seasons Resort, Palm Beach, is ranked #1 by Trip Advisor and has been awarded Five Star designation for 20 consecutive years. Zane and I found everything about this upscale beach resort exceptional~the rooms, the service, the dining, and the amenities.
All Four Seasons Palm Beach guests enjoy unlimited use of the Spa’s steam room, sauna, whirlpool and “relaxation rooms.” Men’s and women’s locker rooms have complimentary robes, slippers, jetted massage showers, hair dryers, toiletries, and mirrored vanity stations. Zane and I loved spending late afternoons relaxing in the spa and even getting fully ready for the evening. (I loved not steaming up the shower in our room:-)
The Four Seasons private pool is steps away from the beach, where staff are constantly checking in to see how they can be of service. The Atlantic Bar & Grill borders the pool and entrance to the resort, so food and drinks are always available without ever leaving your chair.
A Note on Pets: I never would’ve thought of taking my dog to Palm Beach until I saw all the dogs with their owners~especially on Worth Avenue. The Four Seasons Palm Beach allows dogs 20 pounds and under. If we ever return to Palm Beach and carry our Cam (60 pounds), we’ll definitely book a room at The Chesterfield Palm Beach, where they roll out the red carpet for dogs of all sizes. Read here about at all the ways the Chesterfield pampers their canine guests:-)
A few of our photos from The Four Seasons…
A trip to Palm Beach isn’t complete without a trip to Worth Avenue. Known as the Rodeo Drive of South Florida, this is as lovely and upscale a shopping venue as you’ll ever see. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling, people watching, having lunch at an outdoor pizzeria, and window shopping.
Worth Avenue has myriad side streets and charming alleys that have a European feel. We were enthralled by the elegant landscaping, statuaries, fountains, and charming spaces we saw along the way. Some of what we saw is captured in the photos below.
I also link below to some of the items that I wore on the trip or packed in my suitcase:-)
There is so much more I’d love to do the next time we visit Palm Beach, Floria. If we can ever make the trip via car, I absolutely want to carry my Cam:-)
If any of you have been to Palm Beach, please share your favorite places to eat, visit, etc….in the comments. I love hearing from readers:-) As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Have a joyful, blessed & savvy day!
