No matter what your design style, it pays to know how to add glam to interior spaces with gold decor. From traditional to farmhouse to contemporary and beyond, any style can accommodate the warmth and elegance of gold.
Below are some of the ways I’ve chosen to add glam to my interior spaces with gold decor. As always, I share info on where to buy the same items (or similar).
Gold Accent Artwork
My best friend Debra Henry Hewitt happens to be a supremely talented abstract artist. Her art combines soft, muted colors with accents of gold leaf. I have used her art to anchor several spaces in my home with color, texture, and a touch of glam.
If you have a space that needs a touch of glam, a custom work by Deb might be exactly what you need. For more information on Debra Henry Hewitt art or to discuss a commissioned work, visit her website here.
Gold Accented Feminine Art
Have you ever stumbled upon a piece of art that just captivated you? That is what happened to me when I first saw the gold accented piece pictured below in one of my favorite local home stores~At Home Furnishings.
The piece in At Home was tagged “sold,” but I found it online (and at more than $100 savings). The art is a Grace Feyock print on canvas by Uttermost. It can be found several places online, but the best price I’ve found is here at Joss & Main. I love Joss & Main and find so many gorgeous home goods on their site (which is affiliated with Wayfair.com).
Gold Accent Tables
Who doesn’t love a gold accent table? I have several shapes and sizes that I use in various seating areas. I think every guest should have a spot to place a drink, so these are perfect to place beside sofas or chairs.
Pictured below are a few of my gold accent tables. One has a glass top; one has a mirrored glass top; one has a white marble top.
Scroll through the images below for some of the accent tables in my home as well as similar ones that I love.
Gold Table Lamps are one of my favorite ways to add warmth and soft ambient lighting to a space. I love gold lamps with Greek Key designs, acrylic bases, and white or linen shades (drum shades are my fave).
Buffet Lamps are wonderful to use in areas where space is at a premium. The tall, slender silhouette of a buffet lamp can be particularly dramatic when used in pairs.
Here are some of my table lamps, followed by links of where to buy them (or similar).
Gold Floor Lamps
For certain spaces, gold floor lamps are perfect for adding height, light, and a touch of glam. I have two that are pictured below, followed by links to some fabulous floor lamps online that are similar.
This bar in the Atlanta Home kitchen is large enough to accommodate 4 of the stools. My space is just large enough for 3 of the stools. They are lightweight and easy to move into the living room if we need additional seating for a small group.

If you really want to add a touch of glam, a gold mirror is definitely the ticket. It has the added benefit of opening up a space and making it seem larger.
I have the Peltier sunburst mirror over my mantle; it is available here at AllModern. Photos of other gold mirrors in my home (and some similar) are shown below.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing a few of my fave gold home decor pieces and perhaps got a few ideas for your own home. I welcome feedback, so please leave comments or shared fave pieces of your own:-) As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!!
