Delicious and Easy Air fried Parmesan Chicken Tenders

| |

This Parmesan Chicken Tenders recipe is not only delicious but incredibly practical. This dish is perfect to add to your new meal rotation.

You can serve or eat this easy air-fried parmesan chicken in so many different ways. I like to add them on top of a salad or into a wrap for a protein-packed meal. These chicken tenders will be a hit for the whole family, and the leftovers are amazing too.

What cut of chicken should I use?

I use chicken breasts for this recipe but I cut them into strips or nuggets. Another thing that you can do is purchase tenderloins and use these for the recipe. After you cut the chicken up, have egg wash in a bowl and dip it in panko bread crumbs. After that, the chicken will be ready to put in the air fryer and ready to cook.

Why should I use an egg wash before air-frying chicken tenders?

An egg wash is really helpful to get the bread crumbs to stick well to the chicken before air frying. It also helps to get the breadcrumbs to stay stuck to the chicken once it is cooked so they don’t brush off super easily. Basically, it just helps the breadcrumbs adhere to the chicken and create a better crust. You can still make this dish without the egg wash and it will still be delicious, but I highly recommend the egg wash to help the breadcrumbs stick to it.

How long should I air fry parmesan chicken tenders?

You should air fry parmesan chicken tenders for about 15-20 minutes, flipping them in between to get both sides evenly cooked. You should bake them at 350F, and once they reach 165F in the center, they should be finished. I recommend checking the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer to make sure that they’re finished.

Tips for the air fryer:

I use an air fryer basket for this recipe and it makes everything SO much easier. Using an air fryer basket/sheet keeps the chicken from sticking to the bottom and makes them much easier to serve. This Amazon-ordered basket is such a good essential to keep in the kitchen and makes using an air fryer so much more convenient. I have the link for the basket I use here. I highly recommend you try it out!

What can I serve with these air fried chicken tenders?

One of my favorite ways to serve air-fried chicken tenders is to cut them up on a salad. This is a delicious way to enjoy this chicken and a great way to add protein to a salad. Parmesan chicken goes super well with my kale caesar salad recipe. This recipe is super simple as well so it is no big deal to combine them for an easy and healthy meal. Another good salad to try this chicken with would be my North Italia copycat Tuscan salad. The parmesan vinaigrette in this salad tastes SO yummy with the parmesan chicken.

Another way to serve this chicken is to just serve it as tenders with some roasted veggies on the side. Super easy, super yummy, and super healthy! The possibilities for this recipe are endless, so however you normally like to eat or serve chicken tenders will work wonderfully with this recipe.

Let me know how you enjoy this fabulous dish in the comments below. As always, thank you so much for stopping by. Be blessed and stay savvy!!!

Notes

✅TIP: The key is to use an air fryer sheet! I have one that I LOVE called Copper Crisper that I will link to on my LTK (link in bio)✅
✅OPTIONAL TIP: Want to make this recipe even MORE convenient? You can cut out the egg wash and dip the tenders directly into the bread crumbs and parmesan. I would recommend the egg wash for the best results, but it’s still great without
