If you want a yummy power breakfast loaded with fiber, healthy fat, and protein, you’ll love avocado toast on Dave’s Killer Bread. I am sharing 3 of my go-to guacamole recipes~all of which taste fab spread on toasted Dave’s bread.
I usually choose which guac to make based upon what ingredients I have on hand. Although I try to keep limes, fresh peppers and fresh cilantro on hand, it doesn’t always pan out. That’s why I have my trusted “Perfect Guac in 5 Minutes” recipe for when I am in a pinch.
Here are my 3 go-to guacamole recipes~all of which make great avocado toast!
- Jim’s Corn & Black Bean Guacamole is hearty, filling & loaded with protein.
- Dos Caminos’ Fresh Guacamole is my favorite traditional guac but requires chopping lots of fresh ingredients.
- Perfect Guacamole in 5 Minutes is the easiest guac to make in a pinch if you keep fresh salsa in your fridge always.

My favorite Dave’s bread is the thin sliced good seed. Each slice has only 70 calories but is really hearty and filling.
For the avocado toast, I use butter spray or Brummel & Brown yogurt spread on a piece of the bread and toast until just golden.
