Buffalo chicken jalapeÃ±o popper pizza tastes is loaded with cheeses, buffalo sauced chicken, ranch and jalapenoes. A party appetizer in pizza form!
This pizza is loaded with flavor and is quite bold and spicy. I was worried that it might be too much for the kids, but they loved it. There wasn’t a bite left.
Using store bought crust, jarred sauce, and fully cooked frozen chicken makes this a semi-homemade, easy to make pizza that is tons better than frozen and just as good as takeout.
Crust: I use Mama Mary’s Ultra Thin gourmet pizza crust, a flatbread type crust that lets toppings take center stage. I “doctor” the crust with a few ingredients that you can read about here.
Buffalo Chicken: I use fully cooked buffalo chicken from the freezer section and bake/chop before adding to the pizza. Chicken fingers or strips can also be cooked and covered in buffalo sauce.
Popper pizza sauce: A thin layer of cream cheese (onion & chive) goes on the crust and is topped with a sauce of one part ranch dressing to one part buffalo/wing sauce.
