This pizza is loaded with flavor and is quite bold and spicy. I was worried that it might be too much for the kids, but they loved it. There wasn’t a bite left.

Using store bought crust, jarred sauce, and fully cooked frozen chicken makes this a semi-homemade, easy to make pizza that is tons better than frozen and just as good as takeout.

Crust: I use Mama Mary’s Ultra Thin gourmet pizza crust, a flatbread type crust that lets toppings take center stage. I “doctor” the crust with a few ingredients that you can read about here.

Buffalo Chicken: I use fully cooked buffalo chicken from the freezer section and bake/chop before adding to the pizza. Chicken fingers or strips can also be cooked and covered in buffalo sauce.

Popper pizza sauce: A thin layer of cream cheese (onion & chive) goes on the crust and is topped with a sauce of one part ranch dressing to one part buffalo/wing sauce.

Get your buffalo chicken and jalapeño popper fix all at the same time with this yummy pizza!


  • 1 Mama Mary's Ultra Thin Pizza crust
  • 1 TB extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 TB Johnny's Great Caesar seasoning (optional)
  • 1/4 freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Buffalo chicken, cooked and cut into bite size pieces
  • 3/4 cup pickled jalapeño pepper slices (we use "tamed")
  • 3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 4-5 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce (I use Frank's)


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Cover a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
  3. Brush extra virgin olive oil on crust; sprinkle with Johnny's seasoning.
  4. Sprinkle Parmesan on crust.
  5. Mix ranch dressing and buffalo sauce until well combined.
  6. Spread dressing/sauce mixture over crust.
  7. Top pizza with chicken, bacon crumbles, jalapeños & blue cheese.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella on top.
  9. Place in oven; reduce heat to 425 degrees.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
