If you want a simply elegant look this Christmas 2018, my Gift Guide: Christmas Decor (Gold, White & Neutral) is the perfect place to get ideas and shop the look.
If you read my previous post, Kitchen Makeover From Dark to Light, you know that I made a drastic change in the look and feel of my kitchen. This lighter brighter feel is now what I love in all of my spaces. Holiday decor is not exception. Instead of decking my halls in red and green, I’ve moved into the neutral, lighter realm of white and gold accented with natural greenery.
I posted a few pics below of what I’ve done so far. Everything I’ve done this year is simple. Most of the table tops have large pottery bowl with pillar candles and mood moss…..And these Pottery Barn deer have been recycled every year; we got these almost a decade ago!
My stockings need to be hung and my nativity scene displayed, along with a few other odds and ends. What about you? Do you have it all together? If so, bravo!!! It must feel great!!!
My favorite ornaments of the year (and all time, really) are my friend Debra Hewitt’s gold intaglio looking ones you see on the taller tree. If any of you want some, she still has a bit of time. Let me know; they are beautiful!
My mantle isn’t done because I am waiting on garland. (You’ll see my choice of garland below in my lineup.) It is It is King of Christmas garland~flocked~just like the King of Christmas tree in the dining room. I DID have the mantle decorated with fresh garland, but it dried up in one week’s time. #fauxforme
I’m hoping to finish all my decorating tomorrow; my husbands firm party is here Friday night! I’ve got to get my ducks in a row!!! Not to mention finishing shopping and then wrapping it all!!
Note: I try to include notations on items you can purchase through Ebates. If you aren’t signed up, click here. I’m still amazed at how much I have saved and how much cash back I’ve earned so far. If you don’t know how it works, go to my post This Savvy Shopping Hack is Guaranteed to Save You Money for more details.
I hope you find this Christmas decor guide helpful. If so, let me hear back from you in the comments. As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!!
