Easy-to-Make Loaded Avocado Toast for Breakfast

| |

Avocado toast is all the rage, but you can take this toast to a new level with a few extra ingredients! You are going to want to try this delicious and protein-packed loaded avocado toast.

This loaded avocado toast is one of my favorite easy breakfasts. Since most of the ingredients are prepared beforehand, all you have to do is assemble and enjoy! It is super convenient and perfect for keeping you feeling full until lunchtime.

Is this loaded avocado toast healthy for breakfast?

Absolutely! This dish is packed with protein and healthy fats to keep you feeling energized through the morning. Avocados are a wonderful source of vitamins and have healthy fats to keep you full for longer. The bacon and egg contain protein which is a super important addition to any meal. All of these combine to create a dish that is super nutritious and super delicious!

What seasoning do I use on loaded avocado toast?

One of my favorite seasonings to use is Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning. This salty sesame seasoning contains dried onion and garlic, the PERFECT pairing to avocado toast. Using this seasoning is super easy since it all comes together in one shaker, making it super convenient when assembling your avocado toast. While I highly recommend this seasoning blend for avocado toast, if you have seasonings that you prefer with avocado, that works as well!

How do I keep my avocado from browning?

If you are going to be using some leftover avocado for your loaded avocado toast, then you might want to do something to prevent it from browning before storing it in the fridge. One way to help prevent it from browning is by tightly covering the open side of the avocado with plastic wrap so that no air can reach it. Another way to prevent them from browning is by adding a little bit of lemon juice to the exposed surface of the avocado. This should help you to store your leftover avocado so that you can use it for some delicious loaded avocado toast.

What hot sauce do I use?

I use my favorite Jalapeño condiment from YellowBird Sauce. This sauce is SO delicious and the PERFECT topping for my loaded avocado toast. If you like to add a little spicy kick to your dishes, then this is the perfect condiment to add to your pantry.

Can I prep the ingredients for this dish beforehand?

Yes, you can! I love to have a pre-made aspect to my dish to make it much easier to assemble. When I am assembling the toast, I can simply just heat the bacon in the microwave and grate the egg onto my toast. For this dish. I use pre-cooked frozen bacon that I can quickly reheat in the microwave. You can just as easily cook bacon beforehand and store it in the fridge until you are ready to assemble your toast. Whatever makes this dish easier for you will work!

How can I customize loaded avocado toast?

There are so many different ways you can customize this loaded avocado toast to fit whatever you like. You can change up the seasoning, use a fried egg instead of a hard-boiled one, or try sausage on this toast instead of bacon. Either way, this dish is super nutritious and can help to keep you full and satisfied all morning. Give it a try!
