If you want to make your house smell fresh & fab all the Thyme (and like the best Christmas scent ever), you’ll love this post!
I’m sharing how to make your house smell fresh & fab all the Thyme for those of you savvy friends who are obsessed (as am I) with a great smelling home. If you love plain old Pine-Sol, you will experience the Pine-Sol vibe, but WAAAAY better! If you love the smell of freshly cut Christmas trees, you can have it (real tree or not). I’m an artificial tree girl (because I decorate so early), but I never miss a beat in the scent department.
Note: This is not a sponsored post; Thymes has no idea who I am:-). I am just raving about what I’m currently loving right now in the home fragrance department.
My new fragrance obsession is Thymes Frasier Fir. If you are a lover of fresh, crisp, clean, and natural scent, Thymes Frasier Fir will blow your mind. I’ve loved the Frasier Fir candle for years during the holidays, but I am now using the fragrance in home daily. Continually. I am obsessed.
Frasier Fir comes in myriad forms~candle, spray, etc…~but the easiest way to have continual fragrance is with the oil and a diffuser. It only takes a few drops of oil to diffuse for several days, and the oil can also be used to soak cotton balls, reeds or potpourri.
The Fragrance Oil: For any and every Frasier Fir product, you’ll find everything at Thymes online store, where you can also locate retailers near you. The website is replete with specific details of all of the Thymes fragrances. Here is the breakdown of Frasier Fir:
In addition to the Frasier Fir fragrance oil, I also have the all-purpose cleaner and several scented candles. For amazon fans, you can find Frasier Fir products here that ship free for prime members. You can also read the myriad reviews, mostly rave like mine:-). I’ve linked below to a few of the Frasier Fir products on amazon as well as to the diffuser at BB & B. If you have a coupon, you’ll get $10 off.
The Diffuser: I’ve not found a diffuser I liked until I found this SpaRoom Cascade ultrasonic diffuser at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I like the look of it, the features, and the ease of use. Since I bought it several months ago, I’ve used it every single day. It is one of the sleekest and most modern looks I’ve found, and it is super simple to use. After using a 20% BB & B coupon, it was less than $50. It will use any fragrance oil, not one particular brand.
The diffuser has several colors that change if rotating, but you can stop the rotation and set it to stay at one color. First, you press the on button; the diffuser will turn and change colors continually. Second, when it changes to a color that you like, press the button to stop it and keep it on that color. I keep mine on a light green that fades to gray at the top (see in photo).
If you totally hate the look of a diffuser, you can certainly hide it. Here are a few ways that I made a vignette where the diffuser was not visible.
At left are a few more of the Frasier Fir scents that I use and love. Note: If you want to remove strong cooking smells or odors, you’ll want to use this product to do the job. If using a Lampe Berger with Frasier Fir scents, I suggest using eucalyptus or neutral lamp oil.
I love the countertop cleaner but use it mainly when I have company so that the kitchen will smell super fresh. It is also great to spray into garbage cans to keep them fresh smelling.
The candle in the photo is the holiday silver; I also have this in the green glass jar. I am already planning a candle order so that I’ll be fully stocked as holiday entertaining begins.
So there you have it~my fave fragrance obsession! If you try this, PLEASE leave comments; I love hearing from savvy readers:-) As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!!
