Let’s Talk: Dog Owner Q&A with Dr. David Sender

Dr. David Sender continues to share his expertise by giving dog owners practical advice from a veterinary perspective. 

Episode At A Glance: 

Dr. David Sender is a resident at The Auburn University Veterinary School of Medicine. This week he answered some commonly asked questions pet owners have when it comes to caring for dogs. He shared his expertise on things like which foods to buy, what supplements are useful, and we even discussed kissing our dogs! 

Who is Dr. David Sender?

Dr. Sender is a Chicago, Illinois native who completed his veterinary training at the University of Illinois. After his time there, he went to Colorado State where he completed a small animal rotating internship. He then went on to be a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sender is now a resident at The Auburn University Veterinary School of Medicine.

A Practical Discussion.

Last week, we discussed pet euthanasia in the episode “Let’s Talk: Navigating the Painful Choice of Pet Euthanasia.” This episode was deeply personal to me, as Dr. Sender performed the euthanasia on our precious Cam. However, this week’s discussion is much more practical. Dr. Sender offers great tips and tricks that any dog owner will find useful!
