Nashville Hot Chicken Nuggets are doctored popcorn chicken bites that are buttery, spicy, crunchy & delicious!

These hot & spicy all-white meat chicken nuggets are SO easy to make and SO yummy. Served with fruit, crudités, and dipping sauces, these make a great snack, lunch, or tailgate treat.

These bites are essentially frozen popcorn chicken that is basted and baked in a buttery, spicy sauce. For those who prefer less kick, the cayenne pepper can be reduced or replaced with a Cajun seasoning.

Serve these with other “dippable” foods~fruit, veggies, tater tots, etc…..to make your own “dim sum” for kids to enjoy. I once served the assortment (at right) to some kiddos, and no one seemed to feel slighted that it wasn’t Chick-Fil-A or Zaxbys! The chicken and hot & spicy popcorn chicken bitestater tots filled everyone up, and the sugar snap peas and carrots added just a smidge of healthy:-)

Note: our new favorite ranch for dipping is Great Value regular ranch (found in the dressing aisle at Wal-Mart). I never in a million years would have bought this dressing had it not won title of “best supermarket ranch” by Shop Smart Magazine. It is the best grocery ranch I’ve ever eaten and is perfect for dipping crudités and chicken bites!
