My New Favorite Tank Top + Food From Memorial Day (and More)

I’m sharing my new favorite go-with-everything tank top along with food from Memorial Day (including a video of gluten free healthy breakfast cookies).

My new favorite tank.

Athleta’s renew racerback is my new favorite tank. The new colors are fabulous, and the tanks can be dressed up or down. I reach for one of these almost daily. You can find them here at Athleta.com. I got 5 colors and LOVE them. I wear a small in almost all Athleta (sometimes an XS) BUT not these. I sized up to a medium. They are super snug. All of the ones I bought are linked below.

More faves: Loungewear & Athleisure

Since most of my time is currently at home (soon to be the beach~yay), I am investing in comfy, casual pieces. These are a few of the things that came to my doorstep this week. Links to all my pieces are below.

  • Barefoot Dreams cropped lounge pants are here at Bare Necessities. These are cropped with no drawstring.
  • Barefoot Dreams full length lounge pants on sale here at Nordstrom (but only a medium left).
  • Barefood Dreams maxi skirt is 59% off here at Nordstrom Rack in all sizes but medium.
  • Favorite casual comfy Birkenstock dupes. I link to the ones I bought below.

Last week’s Memorial Day Food

I posted our Memorial Day food on my instagram @family_savvy. Most everything I buy/cook/eat is on my instagram, so please follow me if you don’t already! Below is a recap of some of our Memorial Day food. I shared the following video on instagram of me making the cookies; you can view it below.

We enjoyed these Wicked Deviled Eggs, these yummy (and gluten free) healthy breakfast cookies, and Paul T.’s Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. The recipe is in my new dessert ebook and also on my instagram. Below is a photo of Paul T. (my father by love) making this ice cream last week during Memorial Day. Beside him is my mother by love, Mimi, who is the face behind this famous skillet blackberry cobbler. Aren’t they adorable?

Tastes JUST like Chick-Fil-A Ice Dream IMO!!!

What I’m reading this week.

My current book  is Standing All the Way Up: Stories of Staying in It When You Want to Burn It All Down. Sophie Hudson is one of my favorite people on earth. We love talking Southern food (she is a Mississippi gal; I am an Alabama gal). We share our favorite recipes in this podcast on Home Cooking: Tips, tricks and advice.

Stand All the Way Up

I hope you all are staying safe and well during these difficult times. I am praying that brighter days are ahead for us and for our country. As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Blessings to you and yours.
