Peach Iced Tea

This peach iced tea is easy to make (no brewing required), addictively delicious (no stopping at one glass), and low(er) in sugar than sweet tea. This is our favorite tea~hands down!

This peach iced tea is ridiculously easy to make and absolutely crazy delicious. All of my daughters’ friends request it when they come over, and I’ve given out the “recipe” countless times.

This peach iced tea is simply a slightly “doctored” version of Crystal Light Peach Tea. Adding just a small amount of sugar syrup makes the iced peach tea taste like “sweet tea” even though it is very low in calories and sugar.

peach iced teaCrystal Light: Buy the large plastic container that has has 6 packets that make 2 quarts each. For a gallon of tea, you’ll use 2 packets. I stock up on this when it goes on sale BOGO at Publix.

Sugar Syrup: I make 2 cups of sugar syrup at a time so that I will have it on hand whenever needed. Sugar syrup is equal parts water to equal parts sugar~microwaved until boiling and stirred until sugar dissolves. Syrup can be store at room temp or in the fridge.

This method of doctoring can be used with other Crystal Light flavors. Our fave hands down is the peach, with pink lemonade and raspberry running a 2nd and 3rd repsectively.

I’d love to hear back from you if you try this, so please leave comments! If you have any great summer beverage recipes, please share! As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!!
