You Should Make Peppermint Coffee Punch For Your Next Holiday Party

| |

This peppermint coffee punch is the perfect holiday drink! You can customize it to your liking, either making it sweeter & creamier or more strongly of coffee.

A few weeks ago I shared how to make a delicious coffee punch, since so many of you enjoyed it, I decided to make a festive Christmas version. This peppermint coffee punch is SO perfect for your next holiday party. You can make it in bulk and serve at a party or just make it for your family to sip while around the Christmas tree. Either way, you and your family will love this fun and festive holiday drink.

How is this peppermint mocha coffee punch different from my older coffee punch recipe?

This recipe differs from my last coffee punch recipe since it includes dark chocolate and peppermint. My other coffee punch recipe includes most of the same ingredients, but by adding these fun & festive flavors, it becomes the perfect holiday drink. Besides the addition of peppermint and dark chocolate, this recipe also has one other main difference. It calls for chocolate ice cream in addition to vanilla; however, since I will be using the Torani Dark Chocolate Syrup in this recipe, just vanilla ice cream is perfectly sufficient.

What should I do if I want the coffee flavor to be stronger?

One way to make the coffee flavor is to use more cold brew than recommended. The recipe calls for 1 quart of cold brew, so I would add a little bit more than that if you want a stronger coffee flavor. Another way to do this is to lessen the amounts of milk and cream. If you are worried about the volume being significantly less, then I would go with adding extra cold brew instead of removing some of the milk and ice cream.

What type of cold brew should I use?

The best cold brew that I have found is the La Colombe original cold brew. This cold brew is unsweetened and is a medium/dark roast. The ingredients for this coffee are super simple, only cold-pressed coffee and natural flavors. You should be able to find this cold brew at most stores, for example, Target and Publix. You can also make your own cold brew if you prefer, directions for this are on my other coffee punch recipe.

This peppermint coffee punch recipe is only six ingredients:

This recipe is SO easy to make! Besides just being easy, it is also cheaper and more practical than your favorite iced Starbucks holiday drink. Another great thing about this recipe is it is in a larger portion, making it much easier to serve at parties or events.

Here are the main ingredients listed:

  • Cold brew concentrate- La Colombe Original
  • 2% Milk
  • Whipped Cream
  • Ice cream
  • Extracts (Vanilla & Peppermint)
  • Torani Dark Chocolate Syrup

How do I serve peppermint mocha coffee punch?

I love to serve peppermint mocha coffee punch in a glass mug and garnish it to make it look beautiful. For garnishes, I like to use Reddi-whip (but you can use any sort of whipped cream or homemade if you prefer) and then top it off with some red and green sprinkles. The sprinkles make it looks so festive and fun for when you serve it at your next holiday gathering.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM MY HOME TO YOURS!

I hope this recipe and others from Family Savvy make your Christmas and holidays more special (and less stressful). As always, thank you so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!
