Pigs In Blankets
Pigs in Blankets….tiny cocktail sausages wrapped in crescent dough and baked until golden….are always a sure hit!
Pigs in blankets are far from fancy, but they have stood the test of time; almost everyone loves them. They are great as party snacks~served with dipping sauce~or as a small meal for most kids. Whenever you put out a plate of these, they will surely disappear in a flash.
There are several variations of Pigs in Blankets. Some use hot dogs~others cocktail sausages. Some add cheese~others don’t. Some use homemade dough~most use canned. Here is my recipe….just in case you don’t have your own:-)
Make ahead: These can be baked completely and kept in a warm oven~uncovered~until serving. (Covering these when warm will cause condensation and make them undesirably moist.)
What’s one of your favorite, easy party foods? If you’re willing to share, please do so in the comments of this post. As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!! Little sausages encased in golden crescent rolls; easy and yummy!
