These sliders are perfect for any event and are made in bulk, which makes them SO easy to prepare and serve. With only a few ingredients, this dish is super yummy and super convenient, give them a try! These sliders are perfect for tailgates, family gatherings, parties, or just for dinner. Wherever you serve them, they will be a huge hit!

What brand of pretzel slider buns do I use?

For this recipe, I use King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Sliders. These slider buns are different from the normal King’s Hawaiian slider buns but if you cannot find the pretzel version, you can easily swap them out for the normal and still have a delicious and fun dish. The pretzel buns are a little bit saltier than the regular version and SO delicious paired with the turkey and cheese. You should be able to find these slider buns at your local grocery store, but if not, you will definitely be able to find the regular slider buns.

What do I use for honey mustard?

You can use any store-bought honey mustard for this recipe, but instead of buying honey mustard for this recipe, I used Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard and then added in a few squirts of honey and mixed it together. This is just as delicious as normal honey mustard, but it is definitely an extra step. If it’s easier for you to just use store-bought then I recommend you do that. Once I mixed the Dijon mustard with the honey, I spread it onto the bottom slices of the slider buns before adding on all the toppings.

Should I use ham or turkey for pretzel sliders?

Either meat that you decide to use, both are super delicious! In this turkey and cheese pretzel recipe, I use turkey for the meat, but you can use ham or both of them if you like! As for where I got the meat, I just get some pre-sliced deli meat from the grocery store and it works perfectly.

How long do I cook turkey and cheese pretzel sliders?

Before you prep the sliders, you are going to want to preheat the oven to 350F. Once you have assembled the sliders, place them in the oven and be sure to keep your eye on them. You will only want to keep them in there long enough for the cheese to melt and the top of the slider bun to brown. Once it has browned and the cheese has melted, they are done and ready to serve!

What adds flavor to turkey and cheese pretzel sliders?

Besides just the Dijon honey mustard that is spread on the buns, I also brush the top of the sliders with a mixture before popping them in the oven. The mixture I use has 1 stick melted butter, 1 TB Dijon mustard, 2 tsp onion powder, and 1 TB Worcestershire sauce. Mix this together in a bowl and then brush the mixture on top of the pretzel slider buns. This adds a whole next level of flavor and makes these sliders SO much more delicious. You are definitely not going to want to skip this step.
