Publix Deli: No More Standing In Line!

Publix now offers shoppers the option to place online orders for deli meats and cheeses and pick their order up at the deli~ready and waiting. No more standing in line!

My family loves the meats and cheeses from Publix deli, and I make numerous trips there each week. More often than not, I find myself standing in line, which is perfectly understandable, since many others love the deli just as much as I do.

Standing in line for the meats and cheeses, although worth it, can be frustrating on days that time is of the essence. Thankfully, Publix has solved this problem with a simple and very savvy solution~ custom deli orders.

Orders can be placed ahead of time and picked up with no wait. This is a grocery shopping dream come true. I can already see myself breezing through the deli aisle, grabbing my Boar’s Head maple honey turkey and black wax cheese, and moving on! “Zipping in and out” of Publix may now be a reality:-)

So…..for all of you Publix deli fans like me, you need never wait on your deli favorites again! Here’s how easy it is…

Ordering Publix Deli Favorites Online

1. Go to publix.com/order. You can then select your store, shop the deli online, and place your order.
2. You can browse the meats, cheeses, and sandwiches, specifying brand, amount, thickness of slices, etc….
3. You pick up your order in the deli. (In my Publix, the pickup is near the coke machine and rotisserie chickens).

This can be done via computer or smartphone, and it will certainly be a wonderful time saver for many. It may take getting used to by those like me who don’t always plan ahead, but once it becomes habit, it will be a huge time saver.

Note: For those of you who shop at stores other than Publix, it might not be a bad idea to call and ask if this is an option offered at your deli. Even if it is not advertised, many stores may be more than happy to provide this service.
