Better Than Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Recipe

If you are a fan of Starbucks’ Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, you are sure to love my version! It is easy, refreshing, and has me ready for fall!

Every year as the summer winds down, fall emerges in the form of pumpkin everything. Even if the weather has not begun to change, you can count on a pumpkin latte to remind you that September has arrived! This refreshing drink is a twist on the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte, and it could not be tastier!

What Is A Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew?

This year, Starbucks released this new seasonal drink. It is a cold brew coffee served over ice and topped with a cold pumpkin cream foam. Thanks to the cold brew, this drink has a strong coffee flavor. However, the pumpkin cream adds just the right amount of creaminess and sweetness! It is refreshing, festive, and the perfect way to transition into fall.

Is A Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Similar To A Pumpkin Spice Latte?

While both seasonal drinks feature delicious pumpkin flavor, they are two distinct beverages. First, a Pumpkin Spice Latte is typically served hot while a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is served over ice. This makes the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew perfect for anyone who lives in a warmer climate but wants to get in the fall spirit! Second, a Pumpkin Spice Latte has much more sugar and fat than a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Lastly, since a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew contains more coffee than a Pumpkin Spice Latte, the coffee flavor is much stronger.

How Do You Make Pumpkin Cream?

Homemade pumpkin cream is the key ingredient to this recipe, and the good news is it could not be easier to make! To make your very own pumpkin cream you only need the following five ingredients:

  • Heavy cream
  • Sugar
  • Pumpkin Puree
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice

How Do You Assemble a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew?

Once you have made the pumpkin cream, making this delicious treat takes two minutes or less! Simply pour your favorite cold brew over ice and top it with your cream. You can either froth your cream or just stir it into the cold brew. I love to keep my pumpkin cream in an airtight container in the fridge so I can pull it out whenever a pumpkin craving strikes!

  1. Hi Denise! I am SO happy that you are learning the ropes with the Nespresso! I LOVE the vert!!! The pumpkin cream should last 5-7 days. It might last longer, but I like to make a fresh batch every week (but we usually drink it all in that period of time). Let me know what you think, and I appreciate your being such a loyal follower!!!! XoXo
