My Grill Boss…

If we host a cookout, we usually make one or more of these recipes for BBQ butts, back ribs, or pork tenders. Zane is my grill boss; he handles the meat. I take care of everything else.

These recipes are all on my site separately, as I’ve added them to the blog over a period of years. I put them all in one spot here for easy reader access.

First, I’ll show images of each meat with a caption underneath. If you want to link to a recipe, scroll down a bit further and click to the recipe you want to see.

  1. Pork Tenderloin with Alabama White Sauce au jus. Seriously, this is the BEST pork tenderloin! I’ve gotten tons of positive feedback from readers who’ve added this to their normal grill rotation. Try this. You’ll fall in pork tenderloin love:-)
  2. The second BBQ “butt” I want to share is this Beer Butt Chicken (made on the Big Green Egg). It is GREAT to serve at parties or tailgates, and I often serve it alongside pork because they compliment each other so well.
  3. You can choose from 3 different methods to make these baby back ribs. When ribs are on the menu, it seems to take the party to another level; folks love them!
  4. Last but not least, Bobby’s Boston Butt turns out a party sized portion of pulled pork perfect to serve at a picnic, tailgate or party. Serve with assorted BBQ sauces and sides. If you want the scoop on the tools, technique, and a video clip of Bobby in action, you can click here.

Savvy BBQ Sides that go beautifully with any or all of these meats…

Beale Street Baked Beans

Vinegar Slaw for BBQ or a perennial favorite~ Crunchy Slaw

Gourmet Gruyere Grits  or Gourmet Cauliflower Cheese Grits (if you want a lower carb option that is equally delicious).

Skillet Blackberry Cobbler makes a grand finale (served with vanilla ice cream, of course:-)

If you try one of these recipes, I’d love to hear your thoughts. If you have some fab grilling faves, send them my way!  As always,  thank so much for stopping by. Wishing you a joyful, blessed & savvy day!!!
