Zoe’s Greek Chopped Slaw
Zoe’s Greek chopped slaw calls for only 4 ingredients, takes mere minutes to make, and is fresh, healthy, and delicious.
My friend Debra served this slaw at a cookout last week, and I couldn’t get enough of it! I went out and bought all the ingredients and have made it several times since. It is SO delicious and so easy; it can be thrown together in less than five minutes.
The 4-ingredient slaw is made easy with Zoe’s prepared Greek dressing and Spice of Life seasoning. These products can be purchased at any Zoe’s location. For a Zoe’s near you, check out their website here.
The key to Debra’s version of this slaw is the cabbage. Although bagged slaw has its place, it isn’t in this dish. The best results come from using fresh cabbage and slicing/chopping it into uniform pieces. The chopped cabbage has a great texture that holds up well and doesn’t wilt or get soft after being mixed.
I made a single serving of this slaw for my dinner last night and added some leftover chicken, cherry tomatoes, and chopped cucumber. It was so fresh, filling and delicious. This is literally one of my new favorite dishes!
I don’t give measurements for this slaw, as this is an “add as you go” type of dish. The Spice of Life is amazing, and it never seems overpowering or too salty. It is great on chicken, fish, pasta, and on salads.
If you try this slaw, let me hear how you like it! As always, thanks so much for stopping by. Be blessed, and stay savvy!!!
